Welcome to the Boston College Global History Archive, a forum for sharing information about and materials for teaching in the History Core, by and for folks in the History Department. This site is not open to the public, so please log in with your BC username and password to access the Archive.

Here you can SEARCH for teaching ideas as well as for individual readings, images, galleries of images, maps, audio, and video clips by clicking on one of the thematic-category tabs on the top bar, by using the keyword search box, or by clicking on one of the terms that appear as cloud tags in the lower left hand corner. The default mode of returns is “teaching moments,” which are collections of materials useful to illuminate a particular topic, point, or approach one of us has found useful in our own class.

Please SHARE your best teaching moments or materials and help build the Archive. Core Moderator Franziska Seraphim will assist you in creating and uploading your materials.
