On Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 10:00 UTC time a magnitude 5.6 earthquake occurred in the Arctic Ocean and was recorded by BC-ESP school seismographs.  The P wave arrived at our seismographs at 10:08 UTC time.

On September 29, 2008 at 15:19 UTC time a magnitude 7.0 earthquake occurred in the Kermadec Islands, New Zealand.   The surface waves can be seen at around 16:24 UTC time on our BC-ESP seismographs.
