2 Earthquakes Magnitude 6.4 in PAKISTAN

2 earthquakes magnitude 6.4 occurred in PAKISTAN on October 28th and 29th.  These 2 earthquakes were recorded by BC-ESP school seismographs. Below is a seismogram of these events recorded at Weston Observatory.  The gain was lowered in order to see the surface waves better above the background noise.

If you recorded these earthquakes at your school, and/or have any thoughts about them that you would like to share, please let us know by posting a comment on the About Recorded Earthquakes page of the BC-ESP Discussion Forum.

Below is a seismogram of these 2 same earthquakes recorded on Weston Observatory's NESN seismograph.

This instrument is better at recording the longer period seismic waves from distant earthquakes.
