iTunes U/Podcasting

Podcasts are online audio (and sometimes audio/presentation or audio/video) files which are syndicated, so that users subscribe to them and receive updates automatically.

Apple's iTunes, one of the most popular systems for distributing podcasts, now has a special service called iTunes U which educational institutions can use for hosting podcasts for academic purposes.
