Get access to Blackboard Vista for yourself, your students, TAs, or guests

Once you request a Blackboard Vista site, an account in Bb Vista will be created for you. Blackboard Vista relies on the UIS to verify users therefore you need only enter your BC username and password to login. You may also obtain access by requesting a practice site. As the Teacher of Record for a site, you can request that additional BC and non BC users be added to a course site by emailing cms@bc.edu. Please provide the BC username for each person who needs an account. For a guest, please provide the first name, last name and email address.

For registered courses, students will be given access within 24 hours of registering for the course. If you do not wish your site to be available to them immediately, be sure to select “Do not populate my course now” on the course request form. When you are ready to populate the site click here (Load Your Course Roster Form) to submit the request.

For non-registered courses or group sites, please email the list of users to cms@bc.edu along with the course title. The list should contain first name, last name, and BC username (if available).
