Linking to Your Course Reserves in Blackboard Vista

Once the library has processed your reserve request (refer to the library website for information on requesting materials for course reserves at http://www.bc.edu/libraries/about/services/reserves/respolicy.html#howto), they will send you a link to your course reserves.

To link to your course reserves from Blackboard Vista you will need to add a web link. The instructions for adding a web link are as follow:

• Log in to the appropriate course site on Blackboard Vista
• Along the top of the homepage, click on the “Add Content Link” tab
• Scroll down and choose “Web Link”
• Click on the “Create Web Link” tab
• Enter a title for the link, in this case, probably “Course Reserves”
• In the “Web Address” field, copy the link sent to you by the library, and paste it here
• We recommend clicking on “Open in a new browser window”
• Click save, and return to the homepage to see your link
