Verso: "Parkersburgh [sic] Va. // A letter will reach you from Headquarters containing biographical notes. I am on my to Cairo. Sketch of Clarksburg etc tomorrow. I will stop at Yellow Springs at Mrs. Rosecranz and get you a daguerrotype or photograph of the general. The sketch is very good likeness of all. Send me some large envelopes to Cairo immed. to Charles Hotel to be called for."
