Robert Frank

Robert Frank, whose landmark publication The Americans is arguably the most influential American photography book of the second half of the twentieth century, maintains notoriously tight control over reproduction of his work, and has been known to aggressively pursue those who publish it without authorization. Hence, one may be understandably curious about which books use his imagery, and whether, in fact, they do so with his permission. KB
